Geotechnical Surveys and Mapping

Aerial UAV-based geotechnical surveys provide the optimum method for collecting high quality geotechnical data. Surveys of pit high walls or dumps can be quickly and safely achieved using our multi-rotor UAVs. From the resulting 3D point clouds and high resolution imagery, detailed digital mapping can be carried out in a 3D environment. We then compile a comprehensive digital database of all discontinuity structures which can be output as stereonet plots. We also offer further geotechnical data analysis and full geotechnical reviews through our consulting associates.
